“A group of 600 guests was scheduled to arrive with all departments coordinating to manage the check-in, rooms, event details etc. Then, in truly unfortunate fashion, an international political crisis triggered the closing of airspace over Pakistan and the group was almost cancelled.

Fortunately, our partners at Carlson Wagonlit Pakistan managed to obtain flights to transport guests to Bangkok, and the check-in process was finally completed at 4am! Despite this, the guests commended a smooth check-in at the hotel—which could not have been possible without the personal involvement of Shelly, Arjun and the entire front office team.

The next morning, exclusive breakfast arrangements were made poolside for the group. This lovely atmosphere helped guests forget the arduous journey that had brought them to Bangkok and allowed them to focus on the two days of meetings ahead. An excellent lunch was also served in the foyer and poolside, with the outdoor venue being very much appreciated again.

The meeting was successfully concluded, despite many changes to the seating plan which the banquet team handled very patiently and professionally. Meetings on the following day also saw a series of last-minute changes, but the events team complied with all requests and ensured a successful conclusion.

Guests departed at odd hours, but every delegate was provided with an elegantly packed breakfast box. The guests were sad to depart as they had thoroughly enjoyed their stay in Bangkok, and they all left with big smiles on their faces. Thanks again to Shelly, Arjun and the rest of the team.”
